CyanogenMOD 12 ROM for Micromax unite 2.

          Finally ! CyanogenMOD 12 ROM is here for our Micromax unite 2. Everybody is familiar with CyanogenOS which is quiet popular because of its extra feature over stock Google's Android. CyanogenMod is custom android firmware based on Android Open Source Project. It has now become one of the most sought after custom firmware due to the features that they offer combined with their regular code base updated which makes it comfortable for any user to compile and try their firmware. Till date it runs officially on many devices all over the globe.

1. Dual sim (Data connection on 1st only)

8. Messaging App (FC gets fixeda after some reboots)

Not working:

1. GPS (Sometimes)
2. FM Radio
3. Messaging app may force close (You can use third party Apps)
4. Some App Force Close 
5. Audio recording
6. Ussd ( There might be even more. I have written only few which i know )

Flashing Instructions :

First download the zip from the Downloads tab below and follow the instructions

‪Steps:

1. Flash Ctr V3 recovery first ( Recommended )
2. Flash cyanogenmod 12.zip to recovery ( CTR V3)
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Flash the Rom zip
5. reboot
6. Perform initial setup
7. Reboot to recovery and flash the Gapps (Optional)
8. Enjoy

Note : UI shows no service, although the network works

‪How to use ‎Static Wifi :

1. Open wifi
2. Select Your wifi connection
3. show advanced option tick on that
4. Set proxy to none and IP setting to static.. Then enter IP address 192.168.1.128
5. Save !
6. Done enjoy have fun 

Connected to WiFi but unable to get Connectivity (internet) :

               Open wifi Select Your wifi connection. show advanced option tick on that, Set proxy to none and IP setting to static.. Then enter IP address 192.168.1.128 Save !

If you are connected to WiFi but unable to get Connectivity (internet)Do This --Connect to same wifi on some other mobile or laptop and check the wifi settings/properties and use them in this rom.


For data connection 
Just go to settings

Sim cards
Enable data connection

And reboot
